What do you want the readers to know about you?

I Am a retired floor covering installer.  I was married and have five boys. My wife passed away in February 2011. I also make southwestern greeting cards. I have written four other books, “A history of Sahuarita”, “Copper Creek”, “Arizona Hidden Treasures”, and “Woman on the Move”. I am a deacon at my church. I live alone in Three Points, Arizona.

What was your inspiration for writing the book?

My mother-in-law passed away in 2001 and was going to write a book about our uncle Martin. She never got around to writing it, so I wrote it for her. Then I wrote a novel about the men he rescued.

What themes or messages do you often explore in your work?

I try to write about things that happen in the southwest.

What inspired you to write your latest book and what made it unique?

I wrote it about my wife that passed away.

How do you want to engage with your readers?

As a truthful writer.

Do you have any hobbies or interests that influence your writing?

I like making greeting cards from Arizona.

What upcoming projects or releases should readers know about?

I’m thinking about writing a book called Sibley Castle, another story about Copper Creek.

Can you provide a list of your books with brief descriptions?

When Vibrations CeaseIt is a fiction based on a true story about two teenagers who met at a boot camp in the Army Air Corps in the early 1940s. They became friends and decided to head off to a pilot training school in Marana, Arizona. It's about the experiences they shared in training and the crash that almost took their lives.

Copper Creek - A Biography of Martin E. Tew, a story of my uncle, who was a war hero in Isodora,      Phillipines, a port, a rescuer of two pilots in rough mountain terrain at age of 74, philanthropist for Greek war survivers, owner of Copper Creek Mine in Arizona, ownder of Monte Bonito Ranch in Arizona, attorney who also spoke six languages.
